Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to answer.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review combined traffic data to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology where applicable.
How We Use Information
Information supports site operation, fault diagnosis, traffic measurement, and page improvement. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Mobile County and Alabama portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services follow their own privacy terms. Their policies control data entered after you leave this service. Sponsored results are likewise supplied and governed by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data held by a website. Alabama enacted the Alabama Personal Data Protection Act, Ala. Code chapter 8-44, in April 2026, but its consumer rights do not take effect until May 1, 2027. We can search our contact mailbox and relevant server logs for information within our control. Use the Contact page to submit a request. Records held by Alabama, Mobile County, or the City of Mobile remain under the control of the government custodian, which must receive any correction or removal request.
Policy Revisions
Revised terms will appear on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
